Tomb of Crassus's wife, Caecilia Metella, daughter of Quintus Caecilius Metellus Creticus, on the Appian Way, now part of the medieval Caetani castle. The tomb of Cecilia Metella was converted into a fortress by the Caetani, who added the pinnacles and built a palace. They fortified with walls a little village which included a church (San Nicola di Bari).
